SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY OPEN HOUSE 2013

It's my very second visit to the Singapore Institute of Technology's Open House!!
The open house was bustling with energy, many polytechnic graduates attended the event!!
It was located at the 4th level of SCAPE! Here's what went on during the Open House!

Here's whats inside the goodie bag: Brochures, an umbrella, a pen and a water container. Pretty cool. 
The brochure has everything that you need to know about Singapore Institute of Technology. 
If you're in a dilemma, you can always speak to the professionals there! 
SIT's Satellite Campuese are due to be completed around 2014, 
at Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic and Republic Polytechnic.

Very first booth that we saw was the Technical University of Munich
Technical University of Munich was founded in 1868 by King Ludwig II and is among the highest acclaimed universities in Germany, with a strong profile in science and engineering.
Today, TUM comprises 13 faculties covering fundamental and applied research with studies ranging from engineering and natural sciences, including life and medical sciences, to economics! 
These are the courses that they offer: 
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering 
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology

Second booth that we visited was the University of Glasgow
Founded in 1451, the UOG is the fourth-oldest university in the English Speaking world. UOG is an esteemed member of the UK's prestigious Russell Group of 20 research-intensive institutions is one of UK's top 10 leading earners of research income.
These are the courses that they offer: 
- Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Aeronautical Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Aerospace Systems
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Design Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechatronics
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Computing Science 

Next stop was the Wheelock College.
Since 1888, WLC of Boston, USA, has sought to provide a transformational education to students who are passionate about making the world a better place, with special emphasis on preparing its learners to teach, mentor and nurture young children and their families. 
These are the courses that they offer: 
Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education

Next booth that we visited was the Glasgow School of Art.
Founded in 1845 as a government School of Design, The GSA is one of Europe's leading higher education institutions for creative education and research in design, fine art and architecture. 
If you're considering a degree in design, just like me, then maybe you can take a look at the courses that Glasgow School of Art is offering. I had a quick chat with one of the lecturers and he told me that in Glasgow School of Art, students are trained hard to conceptualize and adapt to working environment.
These are the courses that they offer: 
Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Communication Design
Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Interior Design

Next, we visited the University of Manchester.
In 1969, The University of Manchester became the first university in English to establish a Nursing degree. Today, The University of Manchester is regarded as one of the UK's top universities and world-class academic institution with 25 Nobel Laureates among its present and former students as well as staff. 
These are the courses that they offer: 
Bachelor of Science with Honours in Nursing Practice

Then we headed over to Trinity College Dublin.
TCD boasts a history that dates back to 1592. As Ireland's oldest and sole constituent college of the University of Dublin, TCD recognized internationally today, as a premier university and research centre in Ireland. 
These are the courses that they offer: 
Bachelor in Science (Physiotherapy)
 - Bachelor in Science (Occupational Therapy)

After that, we headed to the Newcastle University.
Newcastle University was established as a School of Medicine and Surgery in 1834 and became the University of Newcastle. 
These are the courses that they offer: 
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Chemical Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical Power Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Marine Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Naval Architecture
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Offshore Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Food & Human Nutrition

And my very last stop at SIT's open house was the DigiPen Institute of Technology.
DigiPen Institute of Technology is a long-standing pioneer and global leader in the field of interactive digital media education that offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in game development, computer engineering, game design and production animation.
I was blown away by the art works from the DigiPen Institute of Technology. They had computer renderings that looks like actual photographs, and game character models that looks so realistic!
These are the courses that they offer: 
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Realtime Interactive Simulation
Bachelor of Science in Game Design
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art and Animation
Bachelor of Arts in Game Design
